*Duration:* 6+ Months *Job Requirements:* *Minimum qualifications:* Seven years’ experience supporting two or more flavors of UNIX operating systems Thorough understanding and hands on experience with Oracle RAC, Symantec Storage Foundation Three years VMware ESX on Linux experience *Minimum Required Skills / Competencies:* - Provide technical support for Unix related project activities. - 4-6 years experience in an HP-UX and/or SunSolaris Unix environment. - Proven competency with most UNIX commands/utilities. - Knowledge of or experience with C programs. - System installation and configuration experience. - Experience using various monitoring tools such as Glance, Perfview, Top and ITO. - Shell scripting and programming (KSH, TCL/Tk, PERL, AWK). - Familiarity with HP and Sun hardware. - Familiarity with SAN, NAS and other storage technologies. - Familiarity with EMC and/or HP disk arrays and attendant software such as BCV and SRDF.
