Designs, develops and tests operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for computing applications. *Required-* o 5-7 year's progressive technical design and development experience in a multiple operating system, hardware and application platform. *Skills and Competencies:* · BS or MS/MA and 5-7 years technical design / development experience. · Solid understanding of Core Java and J2EE principles, syntax and best practices. · Solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and practices. · Solid understanding of Java / J2EE Design Patterns. · Solid understanding of SOA concepts and practices · Solid understanding of Refactoring patterns. · Solid understanding of Web Services (SOAP and REST). · Solid understanding of JMS (point-to-point and publish/subscribe). · Prior work or school experience with relational databases (Oracle) · Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects, deadlines and responsibilities. · Must be detail oriented and motivated. · Source Code Version Control (GIT, Stash) · Continuous Integration, including building, testing and deployment.
