*Position : Business Analyst with eCommerce "WMS" - Warehouse Management
System IMPLEMENTATION EXPERIENCE Consultant Location : Nashville, TN*




* Duration: 6-8 Months Interview : Phone and Skype or F2F ***Travel
expenses reimbursable (air, rental car/ground transport, hotel, meals).
Travel Schedule / Travel %:  At least M-TH on-site.  3 nights in hotel.
Travel in Monday morning very early, leave Thursday evening.  Work remote
Friday. *





*Job Requirements:*

·         Must successfully complete background check if selected for
project IT -  8 years Business Analyst - 6 years eCommerce (Business to
Consumer on-line retail eCommerce) - 5+ years

·         *WMS - Warehouse Management System module implementation &
Support - 3+ years.   *

·         *Logistics, Supply Chain - 3+ years*

·         MUST HAVE at least one large end-to-end implementation of WMS in
a B to C or B to B eCommerce on-line environment.

·         4 years of experience in developing lifecycle documents,
including use cases, detailed functional requirements, detailed workflow
design specifications, and software requirement specifications

·         Experience leading requirements discovery working sessions with
an audience of customer and systems Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)

·         Experience translating the results of requirements discovery
sessions into requirements/design documents and use cases

·         Experience in negotiating and gaining consensus in the customer
community to succinctly define requirements and expectations

·         Experience in intermodal transportation, supply chain logistics,
or asset leasing is strongly preferred Knowledge of Business Objects and
other key reporting technologies.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·         Experience working on team-based and cross functional projects
Knowledge project management practices in waterfall and SCRUM methodologies.

·         Knowledge of workflow tools; Proficient in Microsoft Office,
Visio and MS Projects



*Job Description*

·         The main purpose of the WMS Business Analyst is to gather
operational and process requirements and to translate those requirements
into systems (functional/and non-functional) requirements.

·         The role uncovers organizational information problems and
requirements by analyzing requirements; orchestrating solution designs and
recommending system controls and protocols to solve operational problems or
to implement new feature functionality.

·         In the area of WMS/ Logistics, this role provides a deep
understanding of fulfillment and supply chain systems and is considered the
expert in these systems.

·         They are the conduit that connects IT to Warehouse Mgmt,
Logistics and Supply Chain operations and facilitates key communication
between the two groups.



*Job Duties :*

·         Acts as a resource in understanding how IT systems carry out
business functions.

·         Evaluates existing application products that could address
requirements and develops recommendations where appropriate.

·         Elicit requirements for system changes; Validates, simplifies,
organizes and translates requirements such that operational processes fit
within systems constraints.
