*Role Summary * CIGNA is embarking on a multi year, major upgrade of our financial systems platform. This role performs Business Intelligence related design activities for CIGNA. Role provides technical leadership and guidance for key Business Intelligence deployment within the Finance area (External Reporting, Financial Planning and Forecasting, and Management Reporting/Analytics) utilizing Oracle Business Intelligence suite of technologies and applications (OBIEE and OBIA). *Position Expectations:* • Leads and executes technical component of Business Intelligence transformation program. • Leads Cigna internal and Vendor external teams in business design, technical design, and development of the Business Intelligence platform. • Develops future state Business Intelligence future state architecture. • Provides comprehensive consultation to the business on Business Intelligence strategies. • The ability to work efficiently to meet aggressive deadlines and produce high quality results by leveraging strong technical skills across multiple projects, vendors, business units and ASGs. • Ensure projects are completed within committed time and budget and are integrated with other architecture projects. • Translating and converting user requirements into Business Intelligence designs and packages for development • Developing re-usable OBIEE frameworks and components such as logical layers and metadata mappings • Development of BI deliverables such as OBIEE RPDs, data integration processes, and Multidimensional databases • Working closely with the test teams to complete BI development activities and resolve defects, develop and unit test OBIEE repositories and multidimensional databases, monitor and re-mediate System Integration, and user testing of software issues • Conducting BI application change control management by performing Impact Analysis to drive changes • Development and performance improvements of complex queries • Design and customize BI Answers, Reports and BI Delivers according to the requirement • Configure Dimension tables in the Business layer for Drill down functionality. • Specify the aggregation levels and configuring measures in the Business Model Layer and mapping to Multiple Logical Source tables. • Create data level and object level security based on Business Requirements. • Develop ETL's for Data Extraction, Data Mapping and Data Conversion • Design and development of custom reports. Developed Reports/Dashboards with different Analytics views(compound layout, Pivot table, chart, table) with local and global filters using Presentation Web • Utilize a thorough understanding of evolving technologies, tools and architecture best practices to ensure tasks associated with the delivery of significant projects are completed on time with a degree of quality. *Skills and Experience Required:* •6-8 of Data Warehouse experience with a minimum of *4 * yrs of experience in Business Intelligence development, data analysis, and business intelligence leveraging an OBIEE platform • Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, economics, business administration, finance, accounting, or similar disciplines • Demonstrated involvement in end-to-end deployments of the following: OBIEE repositories, Oracle BI applications, ETL, and Data Warehousing • Experience in OBIEE Administration and Presentation Tools and OBIEE Delivers • Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to provide creative solutions • A solid team communicator with high energy and a strong work ethic -- Warm Regards, Harpal Singh | Virtusoft Inc T: 508-656-8689 |F: 302-374-1085 |E: harpal.si...@virtusoft.us |W: www.virtusoft.us -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "it req" group.
