This position may involve any portion of the IT life cycle, including requirements and analysis, but will primarily focus on technical aspects (design/coding): · Web site and web services development using ASP.Net and Oracle 10/11 database · Integration of commercial off the shelf software with other internal systems · Design and build mobile applications and/or services in support of mobile technologies · Manage data exchanges with internal departments and external business partners · The optimal candidate will be capable of discussing business issues or opportunities, and assist in designing a logical and technical solution that meets or exceeds expectations. · Must have the legal right to work in the United States and not require visa sponsorship. This position may change from contract to permanent hire at a future date. *Responsibility level: * · Exercises moderate independent judgment with direction from supervisor *Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: * · Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance · Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints · Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met · Production support of integration components *Skills:* · Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills · Ability to communicate effectively with and between technical IT specialists and non-technical field management.
