*Position : Java Tech Lead * *Location : Des Moines, IA * *Duration : 6+ Months Phone / Skype (F2F if locals) USC/GC Only. * *Job Description* · The employer, a national banking software company, is expanding its front office development team. · The employer is looking for a *Java Web Application Developer, Technical Lead* to join its existing staff to enhance its core services and platform banking systems. · If you are looking for a fast-paced environment with rewards commensurate with your experience and contributions. · Under general supervision of more senior level team members, the *Java Web Application Developer, Technical Lead* is responsible for completing tasks associated with the software development lifecycle and assisting in the resolution of production-related issues associated with internally developed applications and 3rd party applications that are used within the employer’s suite of products and services. Individuals within this role will be capable of acting within all phases of the Software · Development Life Cycle (SDLC), but will require general guidance from more senior level team members. Individuals within this role also will be expected to act as a mentor to other members of the development team. · The *Java Web Application Developer, Technical Lead* will primarily focus on one or more of the employer’s domains – Core RPG, RPG Support Apps / Interfaces, Core GUI, .NET Client, Web Development, and/or Java. · This focus will be maintained in one or more of the proprietary silo’d applications – Core, Core GUI, Web, Platform .NET, Platform VB, and/or support applications. *Education:* · This position requires a college degree (2 year or 4 year) or equivalent experience.
