*Title: *SQL Developer *Location: *Oakland, CA *Duration: *6 month+ *Interview:* Phone and Skype *Job Summary* Involved in the development of Web/Desktop/Batch applications and services including researching, designing, developing specifications for designing, writing, modifying, testing, debugging, troubleshooting and maintaining source code. Direct or related involvement in designing related databases, user interfaces, integration to other systems/applications, content or multimedia processes. Work includes analysis and design to post-production processes, quality assurance, maintenance and documentation. *Responsibilities* · Analyze business requirements and provide technical leadership and direction in design, integration and development and support existing web and batch applications. · Migrate databases from Sybase to *SQL Server and /or DB2.* · Performs development of Web based and batch applications. · Assists the Team Supervisor in establishing standards and guidelines for both online and batch applications and assists in assuring adherence in the day to day work of application solutions and delivery. · Analyze business requirements for system modifications and develop systems solutions expressed through a technical design document to meet the user's needs. Formulate time and cost estimates for the completion of tasks and report on status. · Provide second level technical support as required.
