* Position:- Business Analyst* * Location:- Boston, MA * * MOI:- Skype/F2F * * Duration:- 6 Months* * Must have NexGen or travel or hospitality experience* Formulate and define complex systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of business, systems and industry requirements • Include analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation of proper system requirement specifications. • Central Reservation System experience preferred; analysis experience required • Supports the successful delivery, enhancement, and maintenance of Sabre Hospitality products. • Ensures new product functionality is delivered as required and does not impact existing products. • Support to Quality Assurance and Software Development teams. • Responsible for the development of acceptance criteria • Provide assistance in identifying, evaluating and developing cost effect systems and procedures that meet the requirements of the end user. • May provide consultation to product owner, delivery or users in the area of represented systems. Provide functional and business practice recommendations and direction to less experienced business systems analysts. • Provide functional consulting on represented products. • Work within international environment. • Good at multitasking, manages multiple projects • Research and analyzes current systems to gain an understanding of customer business requirements that are needed to support development of new solutions. • Work according to Agile principles and methodologies. EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or equivalent EXPERIENCE: Intermediate (4-6 Years) REQUIRED SKILLS: • Excellent computer software skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. • Experience as a Business Analyst or System Analyst. • Ability to explain complex requirements in clear and understandable manner and to perform systems analysis. Communicative, detail oriented. • Willingness to work using Agile methodologies. Specialized Skills & Knowledge: • Working knowledge of phases of the product life cycle, including engineering specifications, customer requirements gathering, software design and development, testing - including unit, functional, systems and integration implementation/delivery and maintenance. • Applies the Scientific Process steps to question, research, hypothesize, test, formulate results, draw conclusions and implement a solution; understands appropriate tools, technologies and statistical/optimization models and techniques. • Able to determine how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes, knowledge of products and system architecture. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "it req" group.
