*Job Title : Data AnalystLocation : Detroit, MIDuration : 6+Months
ContractRate : 50/hr on C2CTop 3 Required Skills/Experience*:
6+ years of experience within health care analyzing Health plan data
(Membership, Claims, Provider, Clinical, etc.), and knowledge of the
business processes and supporting metrics/KPI
6+ years experience analyzing and modeling an enterprise use layer
(dimensions/facts), dependent data marts and BI/reporting solutions against
a very large Enterprise-wide Data Warehouse (10+ terabytes) according to
industry standard data models
10 years of experience interfacing between operational and analytical areas
in the business, enterprise architecture, and technical resources
developing information management solutions

*Required Skills/Experience:*
Extensive knowledge of data modeling concepts and best practices both in a
multi-layer data warehouse (Normalized / Inmon) and data mart (Dimensional
/ Kimball) Experience with data modeling and metadata solutions including
ERWin, System Architect, Informatica Metadata Manager, and leveraging those
solutions to produce data dictionaries and enterprise data lineage
documentation Experience with various layers of EDW including data hub,
ODS, EDW and Data Marts Experience with data governance working with data
stewards and business stakeholders to understand the impacts of data model
changes, gain consensus on data definition and business rules, and
communicating to all consuming systems Knowledge of transaction standards
(834, NCPDP, HL7, etc.) Experience with Master Data Management solutions,
Informatica MDM and Initiate preferred Experience with data
profiling/quality solution, Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) preferred
Demonstrated expertise in writing and analyzing complex SQL queries in a
Very Large Database (VLDB) environment is required Ability to interpret
data that is not well defined or documented and develop recommendations
based on findings Experience in working with business and technology
stakeholders senior leadership, middle management and subject-matter
experts building a holistic business processes and information assets;
linking the business mission, strategy and processes of the organization to
its Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) strategy. Expertise in assisting the
creation of the high-level architecture and data solution design for BI and
DW projects (conceptual model, integration model, sourcing) in alignment
with the enterprise data strategy and translates enterprise or business
needs into long-term information architecture solutions. Experience in
applying enterprise vision to all BI and DW technical and application
projects, understanding and communicating different architectural
models/strategies that are consistent with business strategies. Experience
in creating logical and physical data models using the Entity Relationship
Diagram (ERD) methodology.

*Preferred Skills/Experience:*
Experience working with big data / Hadoop solutions in an enterprise data
warehouse environment Experience with Cognos 10.2 reporting tool (frame
work / Studios/ reporting) Knowledge of Informatica, ability to read /
analyze existing code and be able to propose innovative solutions and
modifications

*Education/Certifications:*
Bachelors Degree in related field required. Master's Degree in related
field preferred
