I will appreciate your response at the earliest, as the managers tend to move fast! *Job Title Project Manager * *Project Location Albany, NY* *Duration 24+ months /Contract* *Name (First & Last)* *Contact No.* *Email ID * *Current Location* *Willing to Relocate if need* *Work Visa Status* *Availability * How soon can you join?* *Reason for change* *Are you fine with drug and background check?* *Skype ID* *Last 4 Digit SSN No.* *DOB(Day, Month)* *Project Scope- duties of position* This position will work directly with Department senior executive and executive staff in the implementation of multi faceted, high visibility projects. *Daily Tasks will include but are not limited to the following:* - Defining and managing project scope, schedule and budget. - Managing project teams in the development of business cases, requirements gathering, business and technical documentation, testing and deployment planning, risk mitigation strategies and project status reporting. - Acting as manager to a staff oriented in matrix management techniques, including negotiating with senior management on resource allocations, project responsibilities and tasking as well as mentoring and training resources as necessary. - Communicating project status to team members as well as management including project status presentations to executives both inside and outside the Agency. - Functioning as a facilitator to clarify business and technical requirements which cross project team boundaries. - Identifying project risks and dependencies and providing implementation alternatives to mitigate project risk related to scope, schedule and budget. *PART A: The ONE MANDATORY REQUIREMENT:* *Expert Level * *You must be an Expert Project Manager with documented employment experience of 7+ years (84+ months).* - You must have experience with overseeing projects comprised of multiple deliverables; Delegating and coordinating of tasks; Project status, meetings, scope changes, issues. - You must be able to provide leadership of large teams and/or extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field. *PART B: Requested Desirable Qualifications: *The numbered qualifications below are not mandatory, but candidates should meet or exceed in duration and skill set target asked for, at least 3 of numbers 1 through 5. 1. Four year college level degree with coursework in Information Technology or Project Management, or national certification in Project Management. 2. Minimum of 84 months experience with multi entity project teams in the development and successful implementation of multi-million dollar, multi-year development projects. 3. Minimum of 84 months experience implementing projects utilizing industry standard system life cycle methodologies including iterative project planning, design, development and management of project teams developing in IBM Webshere Portal utilizing JDK 1.5 or above and which utilize business analysts and testers experienced with Requisite Pro, HP Quality Center and/or Quick Test. 4. Minimum of 60 months experience implementing deployment strategies spanning multiple entities, including risk mitigation strategies associated with ensuring implementation success, dissecting deployments into manageable risk averse phases, and involving both business and Vendor teams across highly available and scalable multitier applications using Object Oriented or Service Oriented Architecture. 5. Minimum of 24 months experience managing projects related to criminal justice processing in NYS, including, but not limited to youth assessment screening deployment and reporting, coordination of law enforcement computer aided dispatch upgrades and coordination of multi-agency data center migrations.
