*Job Title : Bigdata DeveloperLocation : Sunnyvale, CA(Need Local)Duration : Long Term ContractFace to Face Interview Responsibilities:* Build distributed, scalable, and reliable data pipelines that ingest and process data at scale and in real-time. Collaborate with other teams to design and develop data tools that support both X1 operations and product use cases. Perform offline analysis of large data sets using components from the Hadoop ecosystem. Evaluate and advise on technical aspects of open work requests in the product backlog with the project lead. Own product features from the development phase through to production deployment. Evaluate big data technologies and prototype solutions to improve our data processing architecture. *Technologies that we use include:* Java Hadoop/MapReduce Flume Storm Kafka MemSQL Pig Hive Splunk Maven Git *Qualifications:* Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field. Strong programming skills in Java. Experience with Python and Scala is a plus. Experience developing scalable, distributed systems. In particular, experience developing solutions with big data technologies like Hadoop, Flume, Storm, Kafka, and Spark is a plus. Experience with MapReduce and/or stream processing solutions like Storm or Spark Streaming. Experience with relational databases (e.g. Oracle, MySQL). Experience with visualization tools (e.g. Tableau) is a plus. Ability to learn new technologies quickly and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
