*Job Title : UI / Web DeveloperLocation : Glendale, CA (Need Local)Duration : 1+Year ContractRate : 50/hr on C2C* The successful candidate can have either a Java or .Net background for back-end web applications, as long as they are proficient with Node.js for back-end and AngularJS and JavaScript for front-end development. *Description:* The Senior Web Developer position is looked to as a subject matter expert within his or her project team. You will need to balance technical requirements and best practices with business requirements while still maintaining the necessary timeline. Input on resource management and project estimation will also be necessary on occasion. Working with Publishing. Will be providing level 3 support (maintain database- lots of SQL, bug fixes and minor enhancement to the application code. *Responsibilities:* Designing and building comprehensive and robust software architectures that can accommodate the Business partners needs Implementing new systems, features, and enhancements Working closely with the QA Team, Producers, System Engineers, Project Managers, Product Development Managers and other internal and external partners to deliver solid applications and smooth product launches Mentoring junior team members on process and engineering best practices Estimate effort for design and development tasks *Basic Qualifications:* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in field 4+ years of web development, including expertise in HTML, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript.
