Position: SAP FICO Location: Newport Beach, CA Duration: 6 months Position Summary: This position is responsible for the development and maintenance of AAM's SAP applications, interfaces, and programs. The individual will participate across multiple SAP work streams including FI, CO, BI, and SEM-BCS. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, technical, and problem solving skills to resolve issues and develop new functionality. Resource will work on assignments that are complex in nature and where initiative is required. Candidate will participate in AAM CBS managed projects, perform assigned technical tasks according to project plan delivery dates, communicate updates weekly, and provide immediate feedback regarding tasks ahead of, or behind delivery dates. The associate will demonstrate high level of client service through responsiveness and accuracy. Primary responsibilities/essential functions (including the following, other duties may be assigned) Code, Test, Debug, Document and Support of the SAP Application Suite. Support of Third Party SAP Tools – ReadSoft, Z-Option. Work in a team environment and address "on call" situations such as system unavailability, loss of functionality, or emergency break-fix scenarios. Deliver High Quality, Efficient Solutions through Innovative Approaches to Business Processes. Ability to Multi-Task Development, Support and On-Going Maintenance Projects and also meet deadlines in a complex, dynamic environment. Work directly with User Community and establish a trusted advisor relationship by providing excellent service with a solution oriented attitude. Qualifications: Extensive experience with Classical/Interactive Reports, BDC, RFC, Logical databases, Module Pool, BAPI, SAP Scripts, Smart forms and Adobe Forms. Demonstrates strong custom development in SAP Workflow and Workflow Support. Strong experience writing new and modifying ABAP reports, User exits, BADI, BTE, and Dialogue programming. Strong experience in ABAP Proxy-based Interfaces. Experience with other programming languages such as VBA, SQL, Java, and HTML. Strong knowledge and proven experience in Object Oriented ABAP using ALV Grids, Tree controls, Event handling, Split containers and Class Interfaces. • Experience in Web Dynpro, BSP, SOA, Web Services, and IDOC. Working knowledge of web-based technologies; HTTP, HTML5, JavaScript/jQuery and CSS3 Ability to work with business/technical lead's to turn requirements into quality, working ABAP code. Strong knowledge of FI-GL, AP, AR, CO, and SEM-BCS. Experience enhancing SAP BW Extractors SAP Authorization experience in ABAP and understanding of the Authorization Concept in ECC. Demonstrated solid experience in multiple SAP Implementation and Support Projects. Ability to work independently and as part of large engagements. Strong oral and written communication skills Adept at juggling multiple priorities under time constraints Education and Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree in Information Technology or related discipline with 7+years of expert-level SAP experience.
