I will appreciate your response at the earliest, as the managers tend to move fast! *Job Title* *Lead Technical Writer* *Project Location* *Dallas, TX and Greenville, SC* *Duration* *2+ months /Contract* *Description: * *Lead Technical Writer with FedRAMP or Cloud exp-Remote with some travel* *USC only* *Remote—some travel to Dallas, TX and Greenville, SC* Strong experience with *SOP documentation of technology systems and processes* Excellent interpersonal skills *Willingness to travel 2 weeks a month to client site for documentation workshops.* *Experience with cloud or FedRAMP is a plus, not required.* *Overview:* Our client is deploying a cloud service for various government entities. The service will be hosted in the AWS Govcloud which adheres to the ITAR and *FedRAMP requirements*. The cloud service that is being offered needs to meet the FedRAMP standardization approach to security authorization and assessment for cloud services. There are 3 parts to the service that needs to meet FedRAMP, with the first being the AWS Govcloud. The 2nd part is meeting the fedRAMP standards for the DevOps piece of the offering. The 3rd piece will be the modification of the applications in the cloud offering to meet the FedRAMP standards. The Technical writer will join the DevOps team to provide the documentation of all SOP’s used for DevOps. The client currently has a documentation framework in place that meets Pharmaceutical cGMP requirements. The consultant will work with that existing framework to meet with the technical team and put together the SOP’s that currently do not exist. This will encompass meeting in person with the teams in Dallas and Greenville to elicit what their current, undocumented SOP’s are. The lead tech writer will work with the DevOps team and the FedRAMP auditing team to do a gap analysis of the documentation, determine what work needs to be performed and develop a project plan to complete the documentation of the DevOps team. Once the full amount of work is scoped it is expected there will need to be additional documentation writers needed. *Requirements:* 5-8 years of Technical documentation experience Experience writing SOP’s and documentation of Information technology systems. Experience with the documentation and SOP’s of technology infrastructure Strong communication skills. Must be able to sit with the DevOps tech team and walk them through the various checklists they do, documenting their processes and best practices. Excellent organizational skills, will need to manage multiple concurrent documentation streams. Excellent interpersonal skills.
