Currently we are looking for *PeopleSoft functional Consultant, Austin, TX* *Position: PeopleSoft functional Consultant* *Location: Austin, TX* *Duration: 12 months+* *Client: Direct* Years Skills/Experience 8 Proven project team building skills 8 Experience writing detailed Functional Design Documents (FDDs) 8 Experience with Microsoft Suite (Projects, Visio, Excel, Word, Power Point) 6 Experience participating in large complex high availability PeopleSoft Financials implementation projects 6 Experience performing PeopleSoft System Test, Integration Test, and User Acceptance Test 6 Experience gathering requirements for conversion and interfaces. 4 Experience in IT project planning, research, analysis and development 4 Experience writing and reviewing detailed test scripts for System, Integration, and User Acceptance Test Phases. 4 Experience implementing PeopleSoft Purchasing version 9.0 or higher, including gathering business requirements, conducting and documenting fit/gap sessions, and system configuration. 4 Experience as a PeopleSoft functional module lead for large PeopleSoft implementation. 2 Experience designing, configuring, and testing PeopleSoft Approval Workflow Engine (AWE) workflow approvals, version 9.1 or higher. 2 Experience with configuration development, documentation and review in PeopleSoft 9.2 2 Experience teaming with business owners and technical staff in a complex, large scale PeopleSoft environment 8.8 to 9.2 2 Experience with PeopleSoft version 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.53 Strong Communication, analytical and interpersonal skills at all levels of an organization. Strong Experience with the PeopleSoft 9.2 Modules G/L, A/P, AM, PO, eProcurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Contract Management Strong Experience in managing and coordinating functional module leads through a PeopleSoft Implementation or Upgrade *Preferences:* Years Skills/Experience 8 Understanding of computer related tools, methods, platforms and operating systems. 8 Experience with all aspects of Documentation, Planning, Design, Build, Test, and Deploy Phases within PeopleSoft versions 8.X through 9.2 Modules for PO, Strategic Sourcing, and Supplier Contract Management. 4 Public sector experience (Federal, State or Local Government). 4 Experience with PeopleSoft User Productivity Kit (UPK) 1 Experience with the CAPPS State of Texas Baseline PeopleSoft 9.2 Modules G/L, A/P, AM, PO, eProcurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Contract Management Strong Ability to set and meet functional team deadlines while maintaining an even disposition under pressure Strong Experience working through development of Interfaces with Technical Team through design, build and test Strong Good teamwork skills, ability to collaborate with other functional and technical staff on the project.
