*Job Title - Sr. Database Administrator* *Location **- **Lake Mary, FL or Camp Hill, PA* *Duration - Long Term* *JOB DESCRIPTOIN:* Database Administrator · Lead in overall database tuning strategy; · Transformation of the logical data model into the physical database schema for the data mart; · Creation and maintenance of all staging tables; · Creation and maintenance of data mart tables; · Development and maintenance of the data definition language (DDL) for creating and maintaining the data mart tables; · Develop summary/aggregate tables where required to improve data mart performance; · Create solutions as required for end user access; · Identify and establish indexes to support data mart performance requirements; · Set up and maintain security on the view, table and column level; · Monitor SQL for performance impacts; · Capacity planning; · Maintain physical design for good performance; · Monitor response time and resources used (CPU, disk I/O), for evaluating performance problems; · Tune databases; · Review of complicated SQL statements written by both application developers and power users; and · Mentors State Staff. · At least seven (7) years working on large scale Data Mart / Data Warehouse projects; · At least five (5) years in the role of a database administrator in large-scale Oracle environment with databases in excess of 5 terabytes (TB); · At least five (5) years of experience installing, configuring and administering Oracle database as a data mart; · At least five (5) years of experience with data replication between databases (primary and disaster recovery); · At least five (5) years of database performance tuning with databases in excess of 5 terabytes (TB); · At least five (5) years of experience with securing sensitive data, both in-flight and at rest; · At least five (5) years of experience implementing row and column level based security; · At least five (5) years of experience with implementing security and privacy requirements in a large enterprise environments; and · At least five (5) years of experience with backup, maintenance, and data restoration.
