*Job Title:* Lead Data Modeler *Location:* Columbus, OH *Duration:* 9 Months *Job Requirements: *Seeking a Lead Data Modeler in the Columbus, Ohio area. *Job Responsibilities* Gathers requirements, design and develops a customer / marketing operational data store and the associated inputs, internal data processes including customer mastering and house-holding, and file and data outputs. *Responsibilities* Understand and translate business needs into data models supporting long-term solutions. Work with the development team to implement data strategies, build data flows and develop data models. Create logical and physical data models using best practices to ensure high data quality and reduced redundancy. Develop best practices for standard naming conventions and coding practices to ensure consistency of data models. Validate business data objects for accuracy and completeness. Analyze data-related system integration challenges and propose appropriate solutions. Ability to understand and integrate data from multiple organization, domains, and activities into the Operational Data Store model. Guide the development team and others on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces. Communicate to business users and program sponsors the decisions made in the data model for optimal performance.
