As part of a new initiative we are creating a central dividend equivalent and withholding calculation engine for Prime Broker, Custody, Listed Options and Global Fund Services. This is part of an Internal Revenue Code Section 871(m) mandatory regulatory regime that imposes US withholding tax on non-US persons holding certain Equity-Linked Instruments and Notional Principal Contracts where any actual, deemed or implicit payments reference dividends on US equity securities. *Key Requirements* - 10+ Years of Total I.T. experience MUST - 8+ Years of financial industry background is mandatory - Extensive Experience in designing and developing financial applications, portals and large scale intranet applications - Person should have worked on projects touching one or more areas of trading, accounting and settlement - Experience interacting with business users and stakeholders - Strong background in architecting and delivering projects using Java/J2EE, Spring, HTML5, Angular JS, Oracle - Experience in Mobile development and Big Data - Hadoop, Spark - Hands on with design, SQls and database - Experience in working Linux/UNIX environment. - *Worked in Project Lead or similar role for at least last 4 years* *Project Management and Functional Skills: * - 6+ Years of financial industry background is mandatory · Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents. · Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. · Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis. · Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path. · Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. · Track project milestones and deliverables - Strong analytical and communication skills Please respond with *Resume, Rate, Current Location and Phone numbers of the Consultant*.
