Role: Network Engineer Location: San Antonio TX Duration: 6+ months *Only Locals **ONLY LOCALS ONLY LOCALS* Job Description: • Minimum 8 years data network engineering experience in the Sr. level role • Minimum 5 -8 years of practical experience in network engineering in a complex and large corporate setting • Required Cisco CCNP certification, preferred CCIE • Sr. level routing engineering expert Required Skills : • Sr. level expertise in design and implementation of network engineering systems using Cisco and non Cisco hardware platforms • Fully understands physical and logical data network engineering design. Identifies resources to address performance, reliability, and security requirements. Promotes design standardization to facilitate maintenance and troubleshooting • Performs analysis of current network engineering designs to allow for network optimization and capacity requirements • Conducts testing of network design and failover. • Sr. level expertise configuring and installing core switches, routers and data switches in a LAN/WAN environment. *Must have a very strong understanding of routing, with the emphasis on internal and external routing protocols such as; BGP and EIGRP* • Minimum 5-8 years’ experience working within a Cisco networking environment, with strong emphasis on dynamic routing • Minimum 5-8 years hand on experience working in Data Center environments.
