Job Title :- UI Full stack developer Location : Walnut Creek, CA Duration :- Long term Start Date :- ASAP Title: Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack Department: IT Applications Development Location: Walnut Creek, CA Long-term contract position We are looking for a self-starter Senior Software engineer with impressive leadership skills and excellent technical skills to help us build our Next Gen Consumer Applications Suite. Along with writing code, you will be responsible for designing and building a highly scalable consumer applications suite, both front end and backend platform, while working collaboratively with cross-functional team of product managers, UX designers, architects, developers and QA on our agile team. . 5 - 7 years of experience designing and developing secure consumer-facing web applications. . BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience. . Experience with the full stack of software development. You have been there and done it, multiple times. You have strong backend APIs (Restful) and impressive UI skills. . Experience building responsive Single Page Web Applications using modern front-end technologies such as but not limited to: o Prior knowledge of using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript or jQuery. o 1-2 years working knowledge of frameworks such as AngularJS, BackboneJS or ReactJS. . Strong experience writing RESTful APIs and middle tier coding in Node.js & Java (Spring Boot | Drop Wizard). . Proven experience in at least some of the following technologies. The more the better: o Spring Framework including, Spring, Spring MVC o Web Services: Spring-WS, Jersey, Apache CXF, Axis o Databases: Oracle, MySql, MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra o Distributed Cache: Coherence, Hazelcast o Build & CI Tools: Maven, Jenkins, grunt, npm, etc. o Application Servers: Tomcat, JBoss, Web Logic, etc. o Apache Solr, ElasticSearch, Natural Language Processing libraries (Stanford, apache). o Apache Kafka, Apache Storm, Apache Spark. . Familiarity of deploying applications with container technology (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) . Experience with Scrum, Agile Methodology. . Test Driven Development and knowledge of mocking frameworks such as EasyMock, Mockito. . Developing and deploying applications on AWS or private cloud. . Insurance domain knowledge preferred. . Unix Oracle applications experience preferred.
