Mandriva (dulunya Mandrake) terkenal dengan linux user friendly nya hardware driver nya juga cukup lengkap untuk desktop, kalo ga mau repot-repot install bisa coba dulu dengan versi lice CD (Mandrake move) Untuk CD linux semuanya asli kok, tinggal di download dari website distro bersangkutan. Untuk Mandriva di http://www.mandrivalinux.com bisa juga beli dari online store seperti tokodistro.com untuk menghemat bandwith.
