Kalau motherboard anda support boot from USB ya mestinya cukup mudah.
Tinggal search di Google "Linux USB bootable" pasti keluar banyak.
Yang umum dipakai sih Damn Small Linux atau Feather Linux.
Kalau saya karena motherboardnya masih Pentium MMX, belum support USB
booting, saya pakai Compact Flash Adapter. Damn Small Linux di write ke
CF card 32MB yang saya punya banyak (dari beli camdig), dan pakai CF to
IDE adapter (S$30). Jalanin di frugal mode, jadi punya solid state
router deh :D Walau dipikir pikir, mendingan beli Linksys WRT54G(S) ;-D
