Please look at the requirements below. 00009 - AS/400 System Administrator Mandatory skills: - Bachelor Degree in Computer science or equivalent qualification/university degree. - With 3-5 years relevant hands on experience in AS/400 administration with mid-level position. - User account administration - Knowledge in the following: -- V5R3 or V2R2 Operating System - Mandatory -- SAN (Storage Area Network) - Desirable -- Backup and Recovery using BRMS - Mandatory -- JD Edwards support experience - some sort of exposure to JD Edwards environment -- I5 (Power 5) hardware architecture - Mandatory - Experience with some of the following products would be desirable: -- MPlus - Desirable or Any other system monitoring tool -- StandardGuard - Familiar with security management software -- TAA Tools - Managing Reports software required -- Mimix - Plus -- BMC Patrol or use of any other performance monitoring experience tools - Participating in day-to-day operations - Monitoring the performance and resolving performance issues Other pre-requisites: - Bachelor Degree in computer science or equivalent qualification / university degree - With 4-7 years relevant hands on experience in AS/400 administration Key Job Responsibilities: - Responsibility for the provision of day to day support and administration of a production mission critical infrastructure environment. - Working with development team to resolve system issues related. - Printer definition and support. - Experienced in systems server infrastructure planning, testing, deployment, operations and maintenance. - Ability to work independently, as well as part of a global support team with minimal supervision methodologically to identify root cause and resolve problems. - Work as part of the IT Operations team providing critical infrastructure systems support for a 24x7 mission critical enterprise environment, supporting the Asia Pacific, EMEA and the America. - Will be a key member of the Singapore IT team who should be prepared to work on projects, designing and implementing solutions and day to day operations, managing and resolving daily support trouble tickets. - Deploy, operate and support computing products and services to met customer requirements. - Maintain active and direct interaction with key customers, gather and understand customer requirements for computing services. - Work with the team members to develop and implement Service Level Agreements (SLA). - Participate in construction, maintenance and sharing of SOPs and best practices.
