Data Base Adminstrator (Oracle and MS SQLServer) Job Description The candidate will be responsible for setting up and managing the DB systems for customers. Will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction. Perform logical / physical database design/creation, changes or removal of database, provide technical consultancy/advice on the usage of database software Optimize database performance through best practices, improving procedures Monitor and analyze disk storage usage for all production databases including database objects, table spaces. Alert users promptly of potential application failures due to data out-growing the allocated space. Generate reports to inform all application developers of the database utilization of each application. Perform diagnosis on the databases to ensure data integrity and proper functioning of the databases. Perform data patching whenever required to correct any data corruption errors. Work with Backup and Recovery Team (Infrastructure Service Provider) for data recovery in the case of data corruption. Perform the database re-organization. General Requirement Must have at least 5 years of hands-on experience on MSSQL database administration and Oracle on HP-Unix/Windows. He/She need not be dual skilled (e.g. NT or Unix with DBA), although dual skilled candidates will have an advantage. Must have good communication & documentation skills, including good command over English Language. Experience with MSSQL Cluster Administration preferable. Candidates with relevant certifications will have an added advantage Should be able to work independently and in a team with minimum supervision. Must have good customer handling skills Degree IT, Computer Science or related discipline Mail & Messaging Solution Architect He or she must have: Track record of designing and implementing complex IT solutions in large enterprise or service provider environments using Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange. At least 4 years of experience in deploying Microsoft Exchange solutions. Proven requirements capture, requirements analysis and solution architecting skills Experience in implementing Microsoft Active Directory & Microsoft Exchange 2003 solutions in large enterprise environments incorporating security features (eg. Virus scanning, spam detection etc.) General Requirements Degree in IT, computer Science or Engineering Discipline Training in deployment of Microsoft Active Directory & Exchange 2003 Microsoft Certification Preferred Open View Operation Consultant He or she must have: Track record of designing and implementing complex enterprise or service provider Network Management solutions using HP Openview suite tools in large enterprise or service provider environment. At least 2 years experience in implementing OV operations and Performance in large enterprise environment Expertise in creating custom message group, message templates, service navigator trees. Working knowledge of other HP Open View tools like Service Desk and select Identity tools. Good communication, writing, and presentation skills. Good English General Requirements Degree in IT, computer Science or Engineering Discipline Training in ITSM/ITIL, Open View operations & Performance NNM Support Engineer (HP OpenView) Job Description: Responsible for the customisation of OpenView Service Desk as part of the Enterprise Network Monitoring Solution (ENMS). Will be responsible for the following: Installation and configuration of OV Service Desk Integration of OVDS with OVO console Data loading of OVSD CMDB set of services and SLAs. Creation of user accounts Customisation of escalations and workflows needed by the ENMS solution. Preparation of training and administration documentation General Requirement Track record of designing and implementing complex enterprise or service provider Network Management solutions using HP OpenView suite of tools in large enterprise or service provider environments. At least 2 years experience in implementing Service Desk in large enterprise environments. Experience in implementing the helpdesk, problem management, change management, configuration management & SLA management process using ITIL/ITSM best practices and OpenView ServiceDesk (OVSD). Implementation experience with OVSD Helpdesk, Change Management and SLA management modules. Working knowledge of HP OpenView Operations. Experience in developing reporting solutions, i.e. automating the generation of customer service reports, system & network performance reports. Experience with decision support systems Good communications, writing and presentation skills. Good command of the English language.
