Network and Computer Systems Administrators (ISA) Job Description:
1. Install, configure, and support an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet system or a segment of a network system. 2. Maintain network hardware and software including server. 3. Monitor network, to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability. It should be including creates monitoring reports and logs and all the active connections to 3rd party servers. 4. May supervise other network support and client server specialists. 5. Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures. Job Requirement: Technical: 1. Have excellent knowledge and posses technical skill in: a. Managing distributed web technologies, including experience in routing and protocol monitoring (HTTP and SMPP). b. Implementation, integration and management of Apache Web Server and MySQL (and/or PostgreSQL) in Linux environment including Shell programming. Please specify which Linux distro you've experienced with. c. Security management on Linux server environment, including configuration of routing, firewalls, gateways, VPN. d. Handling Client-side browser technologies. 2. Understand or ownership of any item below is an advantage: a. A certification from a reputable company (CISCO design or Service Provider certification, HP certified, etc.). b. Development of e-commerce and/or e-finance applications. c. Development of interactive services with mobile operators. d. Development of WAP-Based applications (XHTML strict). e. Working knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle. f. MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project). g. Windows networking. h. Cisco router & switch. General: 1. Bachelor/Diploma degree in computer science, engineering or any relate fields. 2. Good communication and presentation skill in Indonesia and English (oral and written). 3. Sound understanding of e-commerce and/or e-finance fields and enthusiastic to learn new things. 4. Creative, innovative, discipline and responsible. 5. Able to work alone or within a project-dedicated team.
