Salah satu alternatif, gunakan IPCop ( dari www.ipcop.org ) IPCop merupakan sistem operasi linux yang dikhususkan fungsinya sebagai router / firewall / proxy. Dapat ditambahkan add-on spt: advanced web proxy, URL filter, antivirus, dll.
