Our Client is an IT solution company, that provide services for clients
among East Asia such, Taiwan, Hongkong, Philipines, and China. Now they are
urgently seeking:
Database Administrator (SQL 2005)
Candidate must have the ability to fix performance issues and monitor
database jobs/database, replication, fix database corruption and ability to
recover production databases in all scenarios. Apply DB patches, including
security patches and database housekeeping. Provide technical resolution of
all database issues and incident reporting for any database outage. Assist
in database purging, database re-indexing and tuning if required. Setup
multiple Database environment (Production, Testing, Development). Willing to
be on-call 24 X 7, able to handle stressful and demanding situations and
willing to travel overseas.
Candidate have Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Information
Technology/Computer Science. Able to work efficiently, meet tight deadlines
and pay attention to detail. Have strong analytical, problem-solving, and
conceptual skills . Good communication, interpersonal skills and team
lead/player. Prior experience in Production database support in a large
environment of multiple databases.
