Kalau di liat dari cost, rb1100 udah murah, 13 ethernet , ram 512 prosesor
setara p3/4 clock nya.
Blm lg lisensinya.
Kl mau disanding sama pc spek segitu
Kira2 harga 800 rb, plus 13 port ethernet yg dibawah bawaan rb 1100 anggap pake
dlink seharga 80 rb dan gak mkn bisa, kalo pake multi port ethernet jauh lbh
mahal
Pake linux bebas asal bisa configure sendiri, kalau di itung2 ampir sama atau
bahkan lebh mahal pc router
Tapi kalau cm perlu 2 ethernet dgn spek spt di atas, asal bs configure sendiri
mkn pc router os linux lbh murah asal bisa config sendiri

Anda punya butuh berapa Ethernet port? PC biasa dengan Linux OS (atau RouterOS
dari Mikrotik juga) sebetulnya jauh lebih powerful dari Mikrotik RouterBoard
manapun. Cuman ya kalo mau lebih dari 4 Ethernet port, susah kalo pakai PC,
karena harga multi port Ethernet PCI card kan mahal banget. Jadi mungkin itu
optionnya, lebih kecil dari 4 port, pakai PC.
Tapi kalo ditanya apakah ada hardware atau router appliance yang sepowerful dan
lebih murah dari RB1100, saya sih belum pernah lihat.
