Saya mau ganti Windows File Server menjadi NAS.
Di Windows File Server, saya biasa melakukan backup otomatis.
Tiap akhir minggu melakukan full backup.
Tiap malam melakukan differential backup, jadi hanya backup file yg
mengalami perubahan saja. Metode differential backup ini
tergantung pada Archive attribute yang ada di file.
Menggunakan Windows File Server, proses backup ini bisa berjalan lancar.
Pake NAS, hal ini tidak bisa dilakukan, karena ada kendala di Archive
attribute.
Saya sudah coba 3 SOHO NAS, WD My World, Buffalo Live Station Single
Disk, dan Buffalo Duo Dual Disk.
Semuanya tidak bisa manipulate Archive attribute dgn benar.
Menggunakan Buffalo,
Jika UserA dan UserBackup punya full access ke FolderA/FileA.
Jika UserA create file, dia bisa ganti attribute.
Tapi UserB yg juga full access ke FolderA/FileA cannot change the attribute.
Hal ini menyebabkan userBackup yg punya full access ke semua folder
tidak bisa rubah attribute file user lainnya.
Ada yg pernah ketemu hal begini?
Ada ide?
Ada NAS lain yg bisa begitu?
