U need to know where is the problem first.
Try this step to check the passbook :
1. press power button + start 1 (on the left side) in the same time.
2. release the power but keep press start 1 and release after 5-10 second.
3. after the printer show number 00 insert paper and press start 2 (on the
right side).
4. if the printer working normally its will print manual print message.
5. try to print test page from computer, if its does not work u may need to
replace LPT cable.
6. your passbook it ok and the problem is on your LPT cable.

Hallo IBM, Please help us.
We have problem with IBM Proprinter XL24e (Passbook 9068-A03).
The problem is THE PRINTER CAN'T PRINT ANYTHING. The message at computer is
ERROR PRINTING.
When the printer ON the numbers appear are 08 and 17, then the light is dark.
The light Power and OK are light continually.
Please help, this printer is very important for us in our business.
HOW THE PRINTER CAN PRINT NORMAL BACK.?
