Selamat siang,
PC kantor yg biasa saya gunakan berbasis Linux Ubuntu, didalamnya
terdapat aplikasi VMware Player dengan OS Windows 98. Saya bermaksud
untuk memasukan emulator SEGA (fusion) agar bisa saya mainkan dikala
jeda istirahat. Emulator yang saya gunakan membutuhkan minimal DirectX
7.0 untuk bisa dimainkan, berhubung DirectX defaultnya adalah versi 6.0,
sudah saya instal DirectX 7.0, tapi ketika saya jalankan file exe
emulator tersebut, masih tidak bisa jalan, muncul dialog box bertuliskan:
/"Direct3D Init Error: #2
//Unable to create Primary Surface:
Unrecognized error value"
/dan
/"DirectDraw Init Error: #2
Unable to create Primary Surface:
Unrecognized error value"
/Saya coba jalankan DirectX Diagnostic Tools,muncul dialog box /"DxDiag
has detected that there may have been a problem acessing DirectDraw the
last time this program was used. Would you like to bypass DirectDraw
this time?" /saya klik No, muncul lagi dialog box /"Error: Problem
getting extra display info, result code=0x8876024e (unknown error)"/
Next next next ke sub menu Display, ada pilihan Test DirectDraw & Test
Direct 3D, setelah saya klik keduanya, dikotak Notes muncul tulisan:
-DirectDraw test results: Failure at step 9 (creating primari surface):
HRESULT = 0x8876024e (unknown error)
-Direct3D test results: Failure at step 10 (SetDisplayMode to
640x480x16): HRESULT = 0x88760078 (invalid mode)
Ada yang bisa bantu ga kira-kira bagaimana caranya agar emulator yg saya
gunakan bisa berjalan di VMware?
