Let me get more detail on the pre-post events, but you can choose the session you want at any time - even change onsite. I'll try to get a better understanding of when the attendee scheduling system will be live.
IT/Dev does vendor participation differently. There is no huge expo. Vendors (booths, tables, etc.) are available in the track hallways instead of a huge, single expo hall. Turns out its much better this way for both attendees and vendors.
