Bruno:  thanks for your response.  I'm still not quite clear on this (and
yes I've read every page of the tutorial and FAQ and some of the Java docs).
When you say "yes and no", does that mean that no, they can't be mixed on a
page unless I'm using PageEvents to place a chunk?  I want to have fine
control over where a paragraph begins but I don't want to have to place the
paragraph line by line using ContentByte stuff.

If you have a very simple example of getting PageEvents to work, I would be
very grateful for it...I'm having problems getting it to work (not that your
examples aren't good I'm just kind of new at this).  Thanks for your help,
