[iText-questions] how to set width of cells in percent?

Title: how to set width of cells in percent?

i specified the width in a cell in percent

<td width="20%">
<td width="60%">
<td width="20%">

but it seems that the 2nd cell is not long. the table seems to still divide them as 33%, 33%, 34%

any workaround? this has been plagueing me for days
