Lists don't work with ColumnText. If you are placing all the text with
ColumnText you can place the bullet and then a column of text next to it.
Next version will support lists, it's nothing compared with the work I'm
having with tabs.

Subject: [iText-questions] how to handle lists and text

Hi,

now I dive a little deeper in iText
and it is great.

I have now a question to handle the mix of
text and lists.

The text and lists are mixed in html which come from
a database.

In this time I get the text from database and parse the
html.
Within the parser I set a bullet (unicode) at the <LI> tag.
Than I create the Pdf with iText ---> the result is perfect.

But now the problem:

It is clear I have list elements which are more tnem one column
the hyphination works fine but how can I set the position on
the regular text ???

   * text text text <---End of column
   other text other text
here must the other text arravie...

With iText lists all this works perfect but it doesen't works with
column text.

The only way I see to solve the problem, is to cut the lists of, write
the text, take a table set the lists and so on...
But for this way is no time and not the perfect data.

How can I solve this problem is anyone the which solve the problem...?
