ur suggesstions.I tried encrypting with iText to make the file
read only.After encrypting when i try to open in Acrobat Reader or Writer i get the following message."There was an error while opening the document.The viewer cannot decrypt this document".I m using acrobat version 4 for both reader and writer.I would try to explain better.We have some annots in pdf doc where we input dynamic data using a framework written for pdf in Java and using etymon pj library.Now this part of annots where data is written dynamically is modifiable in acrobat reader(u cant save but can print) and in acrobat writer u can actually save the changes.We need to stop this edit of the document.Can u help me furthur.I m working on a banking project and this is very critical.Thanks in advance.
