I think this functionnality is very very interresting.

CryptFilters have the POTENTIAL to be interesting, but the actual implementation of them in Acrobat 6 isn't complete to the spec - so there really isn't much to be gained from them. About their only use right now is to allow non-encrypted pieces (eg. metadata) inside of a encrypted/secured document.
