Paulo,

The old PDF file(File1.pdf) has 4 pages, I want to take two pages of it and add another new pages.
Then, I want to add texts into each of 4 new pages.

Here is my old method that lost some information:
   document.newPage();
   page = writer.getImportedPage(reader, i);
   cb.addTemplate(page, 1f, 0, 0, 1f, 0, 0);
   //add texts into cb

In old way, I can read File1.pdf and then output new pdf. There is no temperory file generated.

Here is my plan to avoid loss of information: 1. Generate a new file (File2.pdf) with two empty pages. 2. Concat two pages of the old file and File2.pdf to produce File3.pdf 3. Use PDFStamper to add texts into File3.pdf and produce File4.pdf

But, this way has to produce two temporary pdf files. So, my question, how can I generate new file without loss of information and temporary file?

Great Thanks,

yun wang
