Hi, we have built a document rendering engine for a pharmaceutical company using iText.
Now we have a problem concerning font embedding (under win32): when a pdf is opened (using a web browser) from a remote server, the embedded fonts will not be rendered immediately when the document is displayed. The document needs to be refreshed e.g. by scrolling one page down and up again. absolutely no problem is opening a document from the local machine, all embedded fonts are rendered immediately. this problem seems to be independent of the platform where the document has been generated. does somebody know what the problem is here? - we use ttf and pfb fonts. - encoding WINANSI for embedding thanks for any help. cheers, chris ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Giniality AG - Christian Sauer; Steinenberg 21, CH-4051 Basel Phone: +41 61 226 99 66; Fax: +41 61 226 99 69; E-Mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; WWW: http://www.giniality.com ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by: Parasoft Error proof Web apps, automate testing & more.
