Hi Paulo,
I have found how to change the row height in a Table.
In my case I need to add an empty row that serves for separating group of rows. I use
negative leading to decrease the row height.
This is the code:
Table tbl;
....
Cell cell = new Cell(new Paragraph(-10f, ""));
cell.setBorder(Rectangle.NO_BORDER);
cell.setColspan(tbl.columns());
tbl.addCell(cell );
In my case the PdfPTable isn't useful due to its lack of rowspan support, and its
quite hard to simulate with nested tables, because my app can receive arbitrary
complex combinations of rowspans and colspans.

That's a lame excuse. You can get the same result with nested
tables.
