Assuming that you have a PDF model that you must recreate with different data, xml is not flexible enough. As for the creation of the PDF there are many options than can go from creating the full PDF to having a fixed PDF template and filling in the gaps. More details are needed for further advice.

Hello! i'm new user of this api to manage pdf, and my problem is the following: I have a complex pdf, with checbox, tables ... and many pages and my program should get data form a DataBase and fill the gaps in this pdf with this data and images. I have seen examples and it seems me that none of then suit me. I know that i can use a pattern in xml (like in examples) and use the values of this DataBase to create a pdf, but in this case my problem is how can i generate such complex xml from my original pdf. I thought a problem as usual as this had a quickly solutin, but it seems not to have a straigt solution. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advanded. ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ iText-questions mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/itext-questions ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ iText-questions mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/itext-questions
