I was wondering if anyone has some idea as to how I can take a pdf file which contains form fields and flatten those form fields (i.e. take the values in the form fields and make it into simple text - maybe text annotations). The goal is to use pdf forms as pdf templates, let users enter data in fields and then my code would take that data and generate a flat pdf document (either remove the fields and add their values as dumb text in their place or cover the fields with annotation and therefore not let users enter data in the fields anymore.
Any ideas?
