Subject: [iText-questions] Problems with
Chinese Text
Hi,
I've tried
implementing chinese text recently but came across a few problems. My
encoding is UTF-8 and i'm trying to use a TrueType chinese font
with iText, however when I load the first chinese font in I get this
error:
java.lang.Exception:
/home/trevor/public_html/unicode/GCHEI00M.ttf does not contain an usable
cmap.. Java exception occurred in call to method.
When I try and
load the second font in I get this error:
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError. Java exception occurred in call to method.
Any
recommendations? I'm using Identity-H for the font encoding, i've tried using
the other font encodings Unicode, Big5, UniCNS etc... however the text simply
just doesn't appear.
