You should ask the question to whom did the port, with the added problem that the version ported is six versions behind the current one. In any case, some facts:
- images are placed with 72dpi if no scaling is done.
- How are you measuring the image size? Not with a ruler after printing, certainly. Acrobat has some checkboxes to fit the pdf to the page size, uncheck them all.

Using iTextSharp(fourth release) , when embedding watermarks and
images(gif,jpg,png) in a PDF
document they get shown in Adobe Reader with an aprox. 25% increase in width
and height.
Is this a common problem or can it be some specific settings, i don't
know of?
