i have to display some i-text generated pdf files with internet explorer.
The pdf files are generated just like the example 8 of the i-text site: http://www.lowagie.com/iText/tutorial/ch01.html#viewerprefs.
The goal of my web application is to open these files in internet explorer (v 6) whitout the toolbar and menubar. This works fine with acrobat reader 4.05, 5.1, 6.0 but it doesn'work with acrobat reader version 5.0 and 5.05!!
I think this is probably an IE plug-in problem because If i double click on the pdf file then acrobat reader hide correctly menubar and toolbar but if i try to open with internet explorer menubar and toolbar are showed in spite of the Viewerpreferences!
I've just tried to search on microsoft without success.
Is this a known problem or am i doing something wrong?
