i have a mildly complex jpg image (5-6 solid filled polygons, a 425x425 map image), around 15kb. when i ue iText to insert this type of image into a PDF, iText goes nuts & never stops writing the PDf file. i've killed the process at 700mb++ & still growing PDF file. much larger jpeg files (though less complex ones) work plenty fine.
