iText doesn't require J2EE. You may have examples that
require some J2EE level.

The iText documentation mentioned that it requires J2EE 1.2.2. But when I loaded the iText classes into VisualAge, it is looking for javax.servlet.Filter and javax.servlet.http.HttpServletResponseWrapper classes. These classes are in J2EE 1.3 but not in 1.2.2. Am I missing something here?
