Thanks Bruno.But does itext.jar internally use any of the native calls
specific to a platform.will there be any kind of change in the display of
PDF when i change the platform? The reason i am asking is we got an
application in java which uses itext.jar in windows OS.we are planning to
shift this application to linux environment.so we need to know whether the
itext.jar will work the same way in linux and windows.

If you have a Java 2 JVM, you can use iText.jar.
