How do deal with checkboxes in a pdf. If the pdf has been created and you need indicated that a checkbox has been checked, what object and method do you use in the iText library.

From what I've read so far, I was thinking about creating a list of =
(X)FDFs and merging them with the original PDF similar to the way =
described in the API for the setFieldCache method of the AcroFields =
class. From there, I was going to concatenate the resulting PDFs into =
one large PDF, an d then add the _javascript_ directive =
"this.print(false);\r" to the large PDF before sending it to the client.

Can I avoid creating individual PDF files and send the template (with =
populated fields) to the printer directly? Also, what's the difference =
between XFDFs and FDFs and which would be more appropriate in this =
situation?
