Hi, I work in Billing departement (GSM operator). I want to use iText to generate bills. Is this allowed? is there any license issue? It's allowed and there are no license issues. where can I find projects that have used iText? and http://www.lowagie.com/iText/faq.html#references why the ones that have used it don't give the name of them projects in this mailing list in order to say thank you iText! Some do. How is iText compared to FOP? ability and performance i mean? iText is faster but it's a bit like comparing apples with oranges. something like generating thousands of bills a hour is needed. some bills may include 100 pages and above. is it possible with iText? It's possible depending on the size of your machine(s), you're talking about 20 pages per second or so.
